The Kitchen.
Due to Debbie and Roger undertaking a full rebuild of their house, the possibilities for the kitchen were endless. Their brief centred around creating a moody colour palette for an entertainers kitchen that is the heart of their home. Spanning more 11.5 metres, the kitchen is located at the centre of the home, seamlessly connected to their outdoor space on one side and the living and dining rooms on the other. The main kitchen area, which measures more than 6 metres provides the perfect balance between good looks and functionality.
Creating a sense of symmetry was central to the homeowners brief, with the design of the kitchen based around the two large black-framed windows that sit either side of the rangehood which is wrapped with our new V-Groove panelling.
The beautiful monochrome colour palette is both modern and timeless. Debbie and Roger knew that they wanted dark cabinetry so Freedom Kitchen’s Alaskan Black Ultramatt doors were the perfect choice with Peak integrated handles selected to keep the style sleek. Organisation is a breeze with the inclusion of must-have accessories such as Walnut cutlery trays, knife holders, spice racks and stainless steel side pullouts and glass Design Side Drawers.
Contrasting with the dark cabinetry, Caesarstone benchtops and splashbacks in marble-look Empira White bring a sense of lightness and brightness to the kitchen. The 3 metre island bench features waterfall edges on both sides, adding to the symmetry that is so important to the homeoweners, while providing extra storage and plenty of seating, making it the perfect hub of the home.
The 5 metre galley-style butler’s pantry flows on from the kitchen, offering additional Gaggenau appliances, a SubZero fridge, sink and tap and dishwasher. A generous walk-in pantry sits at the end of the room and there is also additional bench space allowing extra prep space or hiding away mess while entertaining.

The Master Walk-in Robe.
The Master Walk-in robe exudes glamour and is awash with natural light thanks to two black-framed windows which sit either side of Debbie’s makeup station. Just like the kitchen, these windows have created a beautiful sense of symmetry in the room and acted as a starting point for the design.
The robe centres around a ‘His & Hers’ layout, with an island bench topped in Turbine Grey by Caesarstone brimming with additional storage for Debbie.
A bank of wardrobe storage found on each side of the room have been created to meet the needs of both Debbie and Roger and their various clothing, accessories and footwear. Each robe showcases smart storage solutions and the Suit Grey finish complements the grey tones of the quartz tops of both the makeup station and island bench, as well as the sleek matte black hardware of the wardrobes.

The Home Office.
Overlooking the adjacent (and beloved) golf course, Roger’s home office was designed around an existing and very special desk which is placed at the centre of the room. A black and dark timber palette works harmoniously with this desk, while lending itself perfectly to an executive home office.
The office features a generous L-shaped Tobacco Halifax Oak desktop spanning across 5 metres- a must-have for Roger who requires 3 computer screens as well as a printer on the desktop for easy access. A bank of tall cabinetry in Volcanic Black with integrated Peak handles conceals dark timber-look shelving in Mountain Oak, providing much needed storage and filing space behind soft-close doors.
Open shelving in Mountain Oak add interest to the room, providing the perfect place for precious memorabilia as well as decorative items.
