We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to take a hands on approach and lead our IS Software Development Team. This is a great opportunity to take our legacy bespoke systems to their next iteration, delivering against a varied and exciting roadmap for CRM, ERP and Manufacturing. You will be responsible for a team of passionate and skilled Software Development and Business Systems Analyst resources, with a minimum of 5 years experience managing development teams. You will have extensive experience in platform architecture, delivering software solutions to solve complex business scenarios and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You are responsible for driving the relative IT processes in the department, ensuring Kitchen Groups Intellectual Property is protected and in a known state.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Provides leadership, technical mentoring and staff development

·       Sets and manages team KPI’s

·       Manages the execution of the Information Systems project portfolio

·       Partners with the business in understanding requirements and translating to systems solutions

·       Aligns architecture, design and implementation of software systems using relevant tools, based on requirements and company standards.

·       Plans and prioritises task execution for the team

·       Manages the Agile process

·       Ensures the information systems environment are in a known state, solutions are documented and that the intellectual property of Kitchen Group is protected

·       Owns the change and release management process for Kitchen Group’s information systems

·       Ensure lights on support is executed in line with service level objectives

·       Monitor operational efficiency of systems, and ensure efficiency is maintained

·       Sets and enforces code standards and architectural principles for Kitchen Group information systems through peer review

·       Drive platform maturity through problem management, seeking customer feedback and staying abreast of emerging technologies

·       Maintains all aspects of platform technologies are within support from suppliers and align to current industry best practices

·       Liaise with Head of IT on current issues, progress, and priorities.

About you:

·       +5 years managing development teams

·       +8 years in platform architecture roles

·        Extensive C# experience

·       SOA / Multi-tier experience

·       Software design experience

·       SQL experience

·       Database design experience

·       HTML / JavaScript / ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC / XML / JSON

·       Experience with commercial ERP/CRM platforms

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar

·       Background in manufacturing industry strongly preferred

·       Ability to analyse, troubleshooting complex systems, self-organise and self-start

·       Ability to manage team members

·       Able to adapt to change and implement change management

·       Excellent communication skills, able to communicate at all levels

·       Strong multi-tasking, able to manage workload based on priority

·       Highly detailed and analytical

About the role:

An incredible opportunity has become available for a highly skilled Special Projects Co-Ordinator to join our team, based in our Head Office located in Chatswood. Reporting to the Special Projects Operations Manager, this opportunity is suited to an experienced co-ordinator with a trade background coupled with the ability to complete projects from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Special Projects team
  • Co-ordination and supervision of contractors and suppliers
  • Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring all WPH&S requirements are met
  • Assistance in the planning of projects and timelines
  • Manage progress of work in accordance with project  schedule
  • Measuring sites and reporting accurately
  • Installation and assistance on site

About You

  • Kitchen Design and Installation/ Joinery experience
  • Prior project management experience
  • Understanding of the planning and scheduling process
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent  written/verbal communication
  • Extensive interstate travel will be required
  • Drivers Licence and own vehicle is essential
